We really need to get our calendar page fixed. I looked a couple days ago and got all excited about a Chinamans Gulch trip this month.

Yep. It's still 2014 on the calender page.

I'm out for this run, since I'll be packing up to leave for Cruise Moab later in the week. If anyone has links to any trail info, I will update the 2015 Trail run schedule thread.

I know I'll regret it, but I'm sorta up for another Chinaman Gulch run. Just wish I was taking the 60.

If anyone has links to any trail info, I will update the 2015 Trail run schedule thread.

Let me know if your up for a last minute shake down run, I'm up for an "unofficial" trail run.

I know I need to update the calendar. Anyone want to take over the webpage?

I still plan to lead this one, but it will be a little different than anticipated. I have made a couple of recon runs down there and you can't get here from there, so to speak. There is a big canyon North of Texas Creek and there are no roads that cross it to end up on any of the routes to Cripple Creek. However, there are several miles of trails in the area, with some rocky hills and changing scenery, so I think it will be an enjoyable little fun run. The long range views from the top are spectacular!

It's a pretty good jaunt down there, so we will go with a 7:30/8:00 start time. So that everyone can gas up, let's meet at the Loaf 'n' Jug at Cheyenne Meadows and 115 rather than the Safeway (If you want breakfast before, there's a McD's up by the aforementioned Safeway). Let's start out on CB channel 20 (usually better power and less crowded than 4), and for you hamsters, 146.580. We can always adjust, if need be. I'll plan to cruise straight through Canon City, but if there's a need, we can always stop. Semper Gumby. (Was that paragraph "Take charge" enough for ya, Luke? :)

This is a BLM area developed primarily for ATV's, but the trails we will be on do have the little Heep pictures on the signs. I trimmed several branches, but if you're squeamish about pinstripes, you might want to wear your earplugs or stay home. Speaking of ATV's, as a bonus we may even get to see Travis and Luke debate the viability of alternative vehicle choices with users of other persuasions...but hopefully not. ;)

See ya on the 25th!

i might be able to make this. is there a spot for a tow rig and trailer to park?

Cool!, that's for checkin' the area out.

Wasn't sure what you were talking about at first, then it hit me. :D

See ya on the 25th!

The web page was updated over the weekend.

I will likely be fishing down there Friday and campout, so I will meet you guys down there somewhere.

Was going to wash and polish the old girl today and I remembered this quote. Guess I'll wait until after Texas Creek to try out my new HF buffer. :)

OK Im going to throw my hat in the ring, unless by some miracle my friend gets the graces of the state of colorado to leave... the state.. of colorado.... then I am in. And based on what I am hearing that means I am 98% in.

To clarify there is room for a truck and trailer right?
