I have 2 GMRS that I plan on using, that honestly I am still trying to figure out hot to use, I think that I posted a ham frequency but yes we will be using GMRSI don't have ham (yet...) but my 40 is a GMRS capable vehicle, not sure if that is an option.
LOL the shift knob I bought 20 years ago and finally got around to it..lol... so theres some hope for other projects! That is exciting when everything comes together.

I am going to get my radios set to 146.460
No, I have only FRS which requires no license, as ham and GMRS do, though no test for the latter. FRS are like walkie-talkie cheap little radios with not much wattage but probably suffice for this type of use if the group mostly sticks together…line of sight (-ish).You probably have more experience than I do if there's a frequency that you are already on we can use that one
channel 15 frequency 462.550 if that sound ok with every one else. It isn't too late to come it is a super relaxed event the trails shouldn't be very hard so it won't tear up your vehicles. Although you 80 series drivers might think it is a little too tameIsn’t GMRS all like 400+ mhz? Thought 146.xxx was ham. But I am not an expert.
That is a sweet pictureI look forward to meeting everyone! This’ll be my first CSC outing.

McD’s in Florence, right? On Hwy 79?So I am still planning on meeting at the dirt adjacent lot to the McDonald's this Saturday morning. I was just thinking of Box Canyon. It is closer than Cocheran although not by much or should we just stay with cocheran

On my way! Haven’t driven this rig except for to barrio beer, in quite a while, and already overheated once. Remedied that but running about 15 minutes late! Just let the day heat up a little bit. Air-conditioning is out in this rig as well so I’m paying for it myself! Phone number is 520-369-9663. If there’s anything to be texted I’m good with that. Don’t have ham radio license so not up on the 400 MHz frequency today.![]()

those were a couple good pictures. So how was it for you to be sitting passenger while your daughter drove. by the way she killed that trail today like she had been doing that for ever. Even down the stair steps she looked nice and relaxed
