LOL...

Funny that you mention the finances on this...Someone else said something similar else where.
I had been amassing parts slowly over the last couple of years which includes the motor, the trans, re build of the trans to be sure. Then I sold the Blotch rig to be able to finance the BIG purchases beyond that, and I had been able to stretch that quite a ways. However, I do have a great career that is stable and pays pretty well. Ill never get rich doing what I do (Im an RN in surgery), but it pays decent overall. I clear my bills monthly, have some going into retirement and savings, I have a few bucks left over for some of the smaller purchases on the rig every paycheck. If I have to wait and save for something I will. I DO NOT go into debt for this, so no credit cards.
I figure that when all is said and done, Ill have about 7 or 8 K in this rig. Folks seem to think I have a TON of dough going into this thing. Of course, ME being able to fab and weld is HUGE! That in and of itself saves a TON.
As for the "pretty" factor

...having this stuff CLEAN to begin with makes life MUCH EASIER when something goes down on the trail and it makes it feel...well...new

. That's just my OCD.

Now...I share this information so that you dont think that Im some money bags that can just throw cash at this hobby. Im just a cheap bastard when it comes down to it. Im VERY CAREFUL about HOW I spend it for this.
Kling on's rig rawks! I know that he had been trying to sell that thing for a long time. Hopefully that you guyz will work out something that is good for the both of you.
Are you planning on doing anything to it when you get it?
I know there is not much in the way of sheet metal to it....
