Chasing a ground return

I have been chasing down the ground return wire from the right turn signal (green-yellow) on a J55 and lost it when it went through the fire wall. Anyone out there know where it lands? Thanks!

Early light fixtures are grounded by their mounting bolts. I usually add a ground wire to the fixture that holds the bulb.

The grounds are terminated at lite or close by, That lite may have had parking & turn signals, parking lamp would go to headlight switch, turn will go thru flasher, column & hazard. Are you sure that green/yellow is a ground ? pic of inside engine bay or back of lite ?

I think you may have something. I took a test light from the ground on the battery and crossed the green /yellow and the turn light worked as well as the test light. There are no other wires. so maybe the turn signal grounds at the mount?

alright, alright, I apologize to all for my ignorance. I will go back and clean that up. Thanks for your patience.

That was the problem. I went back and cleaned the connections and added an additional ground. Problem solved! Sorry for being such a dim bulb on this one.
