I searched, but the most recent post I could find was dated 4 months ago. Anyone know of a vendor who still stocks the switch for the later 80s?

According to Slee's site they don't have any and no telling if or when they will.

Can't you order these from Dan ? Two other options that would be much cheaper are just grab an emergency flasher switch from a junkyard toyota, the tercel has an identical switch, or the cdl switch from the center console of a rav 4. If you want to be super cheap and you need on right now, just unplug your ECT switch and plug the CDL connector into the back of that, it works.

Did not realize their were so many options for other switches, thanks. I do like the ideas of using an actual CDL switch, so will check the other options or as well.

Not in a major hurry, got a few more PM's, lift, etc, before I take it wheeling anyway.

Thanks for the info guys :)

Have you tried the Classifieds?

Hmm, I had looked through there a but, but not for that specifically. Good idea!

just installed mine two weeks ago and the thread should be quite recent. Used a old RAV4 switch (1995). Dealer can get these with the right part number or you can go to junkyard. The dealer will tell you it is not stocked but have them look up the part for a 94-97 RAV4, if you go to them.

I installed my CDL switch a little while ago when I did the 7-pin Mod. I thought about the cheaper hazard switches, but instead bit the bullet and got the real deal from CDan.

Even with the MUD discount the cost makes me a little embarrassed to admit it. For my own sanity, I just "hid" the cost with a bunch of other items that I purchased at the same time.

I must say, the switch looks great up on the dash!

Watch the classifieds with some patience. Took me a bit and find someone parting the earlier FJ80's, prior to 93 I think?

Also, I found another from someone parting one on Craigslist. I haven't gone to get it and I don't know if I can find his number? I'll look.

Good luck.
