Maybe this one:

Thanks. I saw that on the PAC website along with some others. The factory port is 1.5mm aux and USB. PAC makes this:

USB & 3.5mm A/V AUX 3-Foot Extension Cable with Waterproof Cap - PAC

but it ends in a round port and that won’t fit the factory cutout. As @dnh1 mentioned, splicing is how his installer handled this.

I don't understand how this would allow the use of the factory USB as the connection to NaviPlus.

The Pac connects to the factory USB plug by the shifter, the other end is a USB that connects to the aftermarket unit.

Anybody on this thread able to recommend a shop in the PHX, AZ area to do this NP install?

Any reputable car audio shop can do it. It is not complicated for someone who does this kind of thing regularly.

I just spent a couple of hours in a work vehicle with Apple car play. I seriously can’t believe that Toyota has once again’t failed to put this in a 2020-21 LC But rather they have it as an option for it’s significantly lower priced vehicles, pathetic and disappointing. What a pleasure using it.

Well, you can have it in your LC for $886 for the full kit plus install so instead of complaining just purchase the unit and install it.

While, that is very true and I’ve owned my LC For 9 years already you’ve seemed missed the point of my post. I wasnt complaining, I was merely just stating the obvious. Seems like everyone that’s purchasing the full kit feels the same way. But carry on with tearing into your 80k LC because Toyota dropped the ball on a simple added item that a majority of manufacturers are adding. Thats all I’m saying, if it works well, and It seems to be I just may jump in on the group buy. My only hang up is I’m not that good with modifications on a vehicle.

If you have owned your 200 for 9 years, then CarPlay would not have been an option on any vehicle at that time. I have also complained about not having CarPlay in the past, but now we do have the option to add it. I had it done, it was cheap enough, and it works. Just sayin, its not like we don't have the option to add it any more.

Correct, it wasn’t even a thought years ago. That’s why I’m not complaining about it. Just crazy to think they don’t see the LC sufficient enough to have it come factory.

One pretty interesting quirk I figured out is that if you take a screenshot of your iPhone while using CarPlay on the NaviPlus it also takes a perfect screenshot of your LC monitor. So it takes two screenshots.

That‘s not a quirk, it’s how screenshots work when in CarPlay mode.

It seems to me that the Naviplus unit is a better deal for anyone just wanting CarPlay than EC OffRoad. I have wireless CarPlay which connects flawlessly each time. EC Offroad does not. Naviplus is $500 cheaper as well.

However, if you want to watch Netflix on your front screen while driving and Android app funtionality on the headunit, EC Offroad does offer that. I do not use Android phones at all so I don't really get into all that.

Yes, the NaviPlus is a much better deal for someone who wants nothing more than CarPlay and Android Auto.

The full Android option provides a LOT more flexibility than just watching Netflix. It gives you the option to run any app instead of the limited list available through CarPlay or Android Auto, while also providing the option to use CarPlay or Android Auto. The full Android option needs to be used carefully though as many Android apps aren’t optimized with large buttons and simple interfaces that are designed to be used while driving (just as most iOS apps aren’t either). I’m finding MediaMonkey on the EC Offroad Android mode to be awesome for playing music from a USB storage device, giving a lot more flexibility than the closest equivalent for CarPlay. For streaming, CarPlay is probably the better way to go for a driving optimized user interface.

IMHO, the wireless CarPlay option is overrated as one would almost always want to plug the phone in to charge on anything other than a short drive. But there’s nothing wrong with having the option available.

I’m glad we have multiple options available so we can each pick the best match for our needs. There’s no need to get into one is inherently better than the other arguments on this.

EC does appear to offer a cheaper unit that removes the standalone Android app ability for $430 USD ($600 AUD), but it has mostly been ignored in that other EC thread (but still not wireless):
