Hey guys, this is my second posting, so be gentle. I am rebuilding a spare carburetor and I took apart the carb diaphragm. There seems to be a few ultra tiny holes in this part from being used for 20 years. I looked at SOR for a replacement and it is $45!!! Could I just put some silicone on the holes to seal it up or should I shell out the moolah? Is there some other material that I can use to seal up the diaphragm? (Maybe a Trojan condom could work...
) Thanks!
i would try it and see. then let us know. but my impatience always gets the better of me in situation like these. order the part and then rig it until the right one gets there.
