Car alarm: Alternative to air compressed train horn?

Hi,

I am interested in building an alarm system which incorporates a serious sound deterring device such as a train horn:



I believe in a residential area this kind of sound will be very effective.

But I dont want an air compressor and an air tank - it is too complicated. Are there any electrical sounds/horns etc which have the same powerful sound as an air compressed train horn?

well I guess you can use more horns to get more loud .. with proper wiring ..



I'm combining these with PIAA horns ..

Air is definitely the way to go and not at all complicated

I had a air horn on my 1 ton dually, and had a guy in a s-10 pull out in front of me, as soon as I laid on the horn I saw his cup of coffee go flying! Scared him so bad he bathed himself in a nice hot cup of coffee! Haha Plus I'm sure he didn't like the fact I stayed next to him, and laughed at the next stop light! Lol
*i always ask them if they want to pull over, and "talk about it".....lol....idk why they won't!
