Can you fit a Pig hood inside a Pig?

I need to pick up a spare hood for my Pig, but not sure ho to transport it.

I measure the widest part of the hood at 5'1".

That dimension does not look like it will fit in the back tailgate opening, or in the rear seat area, through the rear door opening.

:frown:

Last time I had to move a Pig hood I strapped it on top of the Civic. This hood is painted so I would rather put it inside the Pig.

Anyone?

remove the hood that's on your pig now, go pick up new to you hood and bolt in place...?

almost positive I stored a hood inside a parts pig. the seats were out of it, but I would think if the rear seat is folded down it'll work. turn it 90 degrees.

I like that idea.... or wrap it in a blanket and put it on your roof rack. That's how I got mine home once.

Yes. I've transported a few Pig hoods in the back of my Pig. They have to go in at an angle, but flatten out a bit once past the tailgate...

Really? They fit in the tailgate opening?

I measured the widest part of the hood @ 5'1" and the tailgate opening I think is a few inches short of 5'.

So you must have to put one corner in first, and then the other corner...

Thanks!
