I just picked up a used Camping Lab rtt, and going out for the first trip this weekend. Anyone that has one, can you leave your sleeping bag in the tent and fold it back up ? I don't intend to do highway travel with it in there, just for quick fold-up and fold out for moving from the campground to the lake.

I will probably be using a Grand Teton Mammoth 0 degree sleeping bag.

Thanks

I don't have one of those, but the 3 other brands of RTT's I've slept in, yes you can leave a sleeping bag in there. Just folded in half so that the tent will close evenly on it and flatten it out.

It actually helps the ARB style RTT a lot if you DO leave some stuff inside it, so that it's more "squared up" and the cover will be on there nicer without so much flapping around. I think it even mentioned it in the owner's manual and instructions.

Awesome, thank you. I don't have an owner's manual or instruction set with it, but assumed it would be fine.
