If I end up making suspension changes, I'm going to buy the same kit we put on @BigSky406's 40. It rides really nice, everything fit, and I don't think it cost more than I spent to buy my truck.

What kit is that?
I believe it was a Skyjacker kit. I don't remember which shocks it came with, but whatever they are is nice. We also put in anti-inversion shackles, replaced all the bushings, and put in a new steering stabilizer.

Friend looking for a truck.

A friend of mine in YNP posted that she is looking for a truck if anyone knows of one. She said she was looking for a Land Cruiser or 4Runner, 1750,000 miles or less. Needs minimal work with buget under $15,000.

I told her thar might be hard to find but figured i would metion it here. If you guys know of af anything i can pass it along. I would imagine she is looking for more of a stock, reliable truck to DD, camp, hike, ski than a modified wheeling truck.

Maybe not be quite right for her but I've been planning on getting this '93 up for sale this spring. About 172,000 I think. I'm second owner since '98, thought we'd keep it forever but just not using it enough these days. Lockers, dual batteries, drawer storage, well maintained, etc. No issues ready to daily drive or wheel. Hoping to go through it (to remind myself of service record and upgrades) to come up with a fair price this April, probably will be in that price range.

That’s the one! Super impressed with the quality and fit, not to mention for the price

looking at selling my 1988 62 series, I've had this rig over 10 years now, it has been sitting the last few years, new fuel pump, good tires, 179,000 miles
sliders, it had the lift in it when I got it, dent in valence and right fender and right front door, small rust passenger quarter, bad section in driver quarter, dash has a crack, HVAC bezel has a crack, all windows work on the door switches, not all functions work from driver door switches. has a few leaks, could use a tune up
$6700

40 series Seats with the uber rare head rests. they’ve got good bones. Drivers seat needs some foam and upholstery, the passenger seat needs upholstery. Frames are in great shape, seat belts are kinda rare, head rests are really hard to come by and in good shape, sliders are still there. I really wanna keep them, but I need to focus on getting my 40 running first! Also, I need the space back in the shop. This project is down on my list for now so I’ll move them along. If you’ve wanted to return a 40 to OEM seating this is your chance. I will not be bummed to keep them, but I will be frustrated to keep moving them.

Both seats $450

I also have a complete set of seat mounts for the 40… $100
