Here is my tent trailer that I picked up last November. The guy that bought it brand new towed it home and left it in his garage for a yeah and a half before trading it for one of those tear drop units. I still haven't had a chance to use it but I have a 2 week trip planned for June July timeframe. http://bagjelly.no-ip.com/trailer/trailerpix.htm It also came with the Autohome awning and changing room. again never used.

That's a sweet set-up. Can the tent be mounted on your vehicle too? i.e. is the changing room optional? That's one thing I wish we could do with ours. I still want to get a hard-shell roof top tent.

Dan,

Looks like you have all the room you would need for a camping trip, and you don't have to climb down a ladder in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Great set-up.

Now I just need to figure out how to build a cover for the contents in the trailer.

I can relate to that... if I had my generator, propane and fuel cans on they would have been trashed... :(

They look a bit goofy, but the Australian trailers I've seen all have these shields on the front.

I hadn't yet gassed up, so I got to dig and scrape through all that grime, in the rain, and fuel up, trying not to get any chunks in the gas tank...

Not a bad idea at all... it would be cool to make it out of something lightweigt, doesn't fold under wind load, yet can be removed and possible folded for storage.

did you get that off from Ebay? looks just like the one that was at the Little Guy trailer place in Auburn! we went and looked at it when it was on Ebay but it was too pricey for us at that time. if I remember correctly it was made by the 4x4 trailer place in Nevada that went out of business.

Yeah that was the guy and yes it was made by 4x4 trailers out of Las Vegas. I finally went on a two week trip with my son. It was great. The trailer handled perfectly and the tent was great. Oh I upgraded to the larger roof top tent the Maggiolina Grand Tour. A lot more room. I'm 6'4" and it was just fine for me.

Yeah I can move it to a rooftop if I need to. Yeah the changing room is optional. I have it but I didn't even set it up the last time we were out. I also like my cover for the trailer. It's easy to get stuff out of and holds up real well it can adjust to the contents of the trailer if higher than the rails. The link in post post above has some more detailed pictures.

not 100% sure, but that looks like it's tarp/cloth strung tight on tube frame.

Just thought I'd share a photo of the Bushwakka! again. Camped at our local ski resort this weekend...still not enough snow to open.

Nice!

Same case here with the snow in CA...

Here's a shot of it folded up. The dry box on the tongue is our kitchen, has the stove, pots, utensils etc. in it.

Here's a better shot of the tent and kitchen. Worked well this weekend.
