There are TONS of lookers here!
What's up?
Someone's GOTTA be thinkin something on this rig.
Lets hear it!
NO ONE has a trade of the above listed rigs they wanna part with?
Price too high?
Smog issue?
Mileage?

Someone gimme SOMETHING to think about!

Chicago

Having just gotten back from being forced to run Rubithon with an XJ, I can't believe this hasn't been snapped up already. This would have been a solid runner on the wagon run, and it arguably could not be built for this.

Keith, I think everyone's in shock that you're selling it, and they're looking to make sure you're not faking them out. You're close to CA, but a lot of us have to deal with dyno smog which might freak out a lot of people. Lots of rigs that pass two speed idle with flying colors need $$$ worth of work to pass dyno.

Bump for a 62 that sets the bar a couple notches higher.

Bump for a WELL PRICED rig.

Thanks Pilos1
Glad to see that youre looking again!:D
How about it? Ive also got most of the parts together for the Vortec swap including an NP203 gear box for (of course) an additional charge.

Here is what I have for the swap:
(This is additional cost above the cost of the rig, and I will NOT sell/separate ANY of this until the cruiser is sold!)
01' 5.3 L Vortec 49K miles, 99.9% complete with fly wheel and computer
Rebuilt injectors
Intake chemically cleaned
New head gasket replaced because (I HAD to see what the cylinder heads looked like.)
The heads and valves were cleaned thoroughly (I have pics)
02 4L60E trans re build with upgrades and a 700R output shaft installed.
AA 6 to 4 bolt adadpter with VSS and Reluctor ring
700R adapter plate
NP203 gear box

Needs (to get started):
Comp reflash
wiring harness (I was planning on a Howell)
Manifolds
Motor mounts
trans shifter
203 to split case adapter (Colorado Off Road express)

Thanks for the props!
Ill do a little research and see what I come up with as far as the smog for the Blotch rig.

I hate to see you sell this Kieth. I think it can still be what you want, but it will take some very large tires and maybe stronger axles.

Frizzlefry had a very impressive FJ55 that was a big wagon on 42s, Dana 70 rear.60 front. It basically just walked over everything on the Rubicon with no issue at all.

Thanks Andy,
Yeah...I COULD do it, but IMO its just not worth it unless she just doesnt sell.
Not when I can build another more appropriately suited for my needs for much less time and money.

Its a drag, but its a good thing too.

Id trade you fiona for blotch (i dented it up some for ya so you wont feel as bad) but i dont think i could ever part with my fiona. she has always been there for me and we have alot of sentimental memories together some good some bad and if i were to even think about selling her my price would be waaaaay higher than what your asking! (cause sentimental value) Ill sleep in my fiona before i sell her!

i vote keep it!

If i had the cash id buy it now and drive it nearly daily.

I hope it goes to someone who can respect the wagon and treat her well.

When you mentioned that it pulls a bit, can this be adjusted, by any chance?

Yeup!
However, it would require a new c and t'd housing to be swapped in.
Proffits would be the EASIEST solution. He'll sell you a housing in exchange for the core and IIRC it wasnt that bad.
Luke at 4x4 labs will do em too.
Then all you have to do is x fer the components. The only things that YOU would have to weld in are the lower shock tabs and possibly the bump stops.
BTW, the front end was just re built...AGAIN...last summer with the Marlin HD's when I installed the locker and longs.
To me, its not that bad and has never been worth the time to re do, but...that is me.

My Dad's coworker has a stock white 1988 4Runner. Lots of miles, selling for $500... I'm sure that doesn't help though. I hate to see such a rig go at sucha low price. :(
