So far this week...I've got an employee of the month award from the Corps (my district anyway), a raise, a bonus, and have been involved in a Coast Guard investigation! It's been a good week other than a small setback in buying our new house. Oh yeah, that's keeping me busy too!

It was just a delay in the inspection due to the owner not having a place to put her dogs. I got stood up waiting at the property for an hour not being able to get ahold of anyone. The inspector finally called me back and said that he was told that the seller canceled. The Realtor didn't see a need to call me and let me know about it, so I took a half-day off work for nothing. Now, we just have to get things rescheduled, other than that, everything's been pretty painless.
