I use to silicone mine shut and ran the vent into the top of the dash. When I knew I was going to be in anything deep tie a bag around it to help keep it dry. Never had issues.![]()
...all that trouble to go for a swim, what happened to donning some trunks and jumping into the water (leave the rig high and dry)?![]()
I was usually putting the boat out where there were no boat ramps or crossing to get where the others couldn't to that great camp spot or swimming hole. The only problem with that was when the tide came in or water level rose in the evening you were at your spot until the next day :whoops:
