So who in here has been busted by SafeSpeed?

I was. As I opened it, I tried to think up ways I could fight it and say there's no proof. Then I saw myself changing the radio station and wrote the check...even had video.

However, I have seen the images and they are incredible how close they get to your plate and your face.

i will be getting a ticket in the mail fairly soon. some a hole was on their cell phone and driving crappy, so i pull aside her and stomped it since she was weaving and i didn't want her to hit me. then all of a sudden i see a flash. you can guess the next series of words that came out of my mouth. It was on university so the roads are really small as is without someone driving crazy
 
I'm expecting one to be waiting for me when I get home. I had a deer in the headlights moment when the light over by Serrano's turned yellow...took too long making my mind up :mad:
 
i personally think they are stupid, as do everyone who gets busted. It would be different if you ran a red light and not a yellow like and 1 millisec of a red one. At least it doesnt go against your driving record and your insurance doesnt go up. (that is what i have heard) and i also know for a fact that they do mess up and take random pictures. (it was on the news here in baton rouge)

hey guys, the dealership just called back.... with not a single bit of good news. so i will list all the bad

1.wheel bearing is crap, so are all the seals and o rings and all the other parts that go along with it. some how it got crooked in there and tore up a lot of crap.

2. the hub, he doesn't know what condition its in until he takes it apart. the Toyota tech guy said he has only had to replace 2 or 3 in his time. But he also said the bearing was really bad. so this is worst case scenario

3. and for the worst news of all, its not covered under my warranty. so basically i'm screwed looking at putting 1000 bucks into my truck for something warranty should have covered.

so guys it all depends on "the call" i get later. so at bare minimum I'm short 700 bucks
 
Sorry to hear that. Toyota has one of worst warranty's on the planet. I never understood why that is, when they have the most reliable cars and trucks.

Go for the gusto and just tell them to put it towards the FJ on the showroom. :D Thats sucks bud I kept tearing up front axle seals on my 95 they covered it under warranty twice but I continued to play ruff and use it for what I bought it for. They eventually stopped covering it because of my oversized tires and lift. I just changed them on my own nickel there after. Good luck with the repairs maybe your sugar mama will cover you for the difference :lol: I know a place here where she can make a couple hundred a night :grinpimp: we'll round up the boys and support you by throwing some $ up there. We're always doing what we can to support our friends. :beer:
