There's never going to be a full three link kit so to speak. He's quite the busy guy & I don't think he want to deal with all that.
However If he comes up with something that works well and to my liking and with his graces. To help the Cruiser/Mud community I may offer mount parts/kits to DIYers This would be like a universal three link mount kit from any of the current suppliers but instead be specific to the 80 with specific mounting location.
To be clear we are still a long way off. I only want to move ahead if it's going to be a improvement over a lifted 80 with OEM control arms.
At this point the plan was to try to keep the tie rod behind the axle in the OEM position( less modifications more cost efficient ) this could work but at the cost of ground clearance at the axle and I don't want that. To get the best numbers and the mounts up above the bottom of the axle you need to to move the tie rod to the front and go Hi steer = big cash and a ton more work. So we shall see  Patience's
That's why I made my lower links the way I did and have the length upper I do. I was able to keep my steering arms behind the axle and up high. I actually gained clearance over the radius arms, but that took a lot of cycling the suspension to make sure that as it compressed and extended, the pinion didn't rotate the steering arms into the links. On the street I drive mine like a hooligan and through the mountains, but not without a rear sway bar. It can be done and done well. Just takes that patience that you mentioned and some forethought

How do your anti dive numbers look with the current radius arms? I can’t remember, did you drop your frame side mounting location at all with your modified brackets or only shift forward?

I dont have that info currently in front of me.

Frame side just moved forward not down.

Thank You CD for the very kind words. I feel very blessed !!

So no 3 link before Cruise Moab?.

Small up date on the Three Link
Just wanted it simple and leave the tie rod behind the axle in the OEM position. Number were OK but the lower links would need a bend in them and the axle side mounts would need to hang below the axle housing.
So my friend started over and now the tie rod will go in the front with Hi steer. Better numbers no bend and the mounts will not hang below the axle.
I'm very fortunate to have his help, He's designing the steering as will.
I want it right more then fast

I added another spare tire mount so now it well have two spare at all times. mount is a match to the first one.
Plus a mount for the 39" Cruiser spare flat on the deck. I'm looking into carrying a tube along with my tire repair kit instead of that big ass tire as I would like to build a sleeping platform for Sierra trips.

I painted all the wheels, got 4 new tires saved the 2 best for the spares so all 6 tire match now. Living at the coast rust is a issue and the exposed end of the lug studs & lug nuts would rust so I got all new stainless steel lug nut that cover the studs.

I have all new decking to install. I will be happy to have this done its been a long project. Mostly my fault as I have not been motivated to work on it, plus rain/ cold delays and putting family first ! Basically any excuse I could come up with not to work on it. 😂 😆
I really need it done now as I have a big trip coming up Sand Hollow/Cruise Moab and I need to get the Cruiser in the shop for pre-run inspection, maintenance.

Deck is on

Oil the deck, remount the tool/spare parts box and it's a wrap.

I got a new welding helmet so that maybe the welds will look better when I get started on it. 😆

So doing maintenance for a big trip coming up.
All the basic stuff, one of the things on my list was the winch last couple of times I used it it would not free spool. So I opened it up 😳 not good.
It’s 10 years old Warn 10k all ways got the job done but I think I should have be giving it more love.
Water got in there I think at Fordyce Creek 3’ deep water crossings then snap both front axles and the winch really got a good work out. lots of full rope pulls 100’ reset do it again.
Grease was burnt gears have rust on them quite the job to get it back to working order.
I think winches are an over looked tool that most don’t think about tell you need it.
I will be servicing mine more often now.
