Anybody "bronzed" their OEM wheels? Specifically looking for Early 90s 15x6JJ rims (like on my 1992 FJ80). Kinda sweet, but not sure. Definetly newer and unique. Dont like gold, shooting for a dark bronze

Looking to paint them a dark color, not black. Gun metal maybe...and no, I cant afford Methods

I have a set of these in gunmetal grey. They have a sweet bronze colour too

I painted mine bronze. The wheels started off as a raw aluminum with peeling clear coat so I sanded them down, sprayed self etching primer, followed by a couple coats of rustoleum gloss protective enamel black. Then I put on a light coat or two of the duplicolor HWP105 bronze followed by several coats of duplicolor clear coat.
