As the fallout from the warehouse fire rages on, I'm brewing some big ideas for the new year, and taking a semi-hard look at some of my 30 year stash to finance those big ideas. This is kind of a 3rd or 4th at bat.

Anyways, when landcruiserjunky did his repops all those years ago, I had him prep me one that did not go to the plater. Always interested in having something just a little different, since the base metal for all his repops was brass, he just polished one of those up, which actually served a little hood time on my 45 before I installed one of the chrome repops. Probably an old pic of the install on Pirate 4x4.

As Mark said when Gene first started the project there was a small run of these plated
In my opinion they are 1000% better than original. Take it to your favorite plater and it will outlast any 25 you bolt it to.
