I'll keep this in mind if anyone looking at redoing the brake system asks about a P-valve. Looks nice. Looks easy to adjust. I haven't read "backwards" but do you sell it already "adjusted" to the correct pressure or do you send a how-to for it?

It comes pre-adjusted, but I also provide a manual on how to adjust and test.

The default setting should work for stock rigs, but different folks run different tire sizes and suspension setups, so the optimal setting depends on the truck.

Ordered one of these yesterday! Will document the install and provide some feedback when it comes.

Not to shamelessly plug my own products, but the set up I have in my truck now -- with the new brake proportioning valve and the new dual diaphragm brake booster (coming in October) has given my brakes a new lease on life. As much as I like OEM, it would be really hard to achieve the same level of performance and trouble free operation with the original parts from the 70's or 80's.

Where did you get those rubber boots protecting the sensors on the bottom of your brake master cylinder? I need a few of those!

Those are OEM. I don't know the part #, or whether it's still available.

Is that a new brake master cylinder? Were those boots there when you got the truck?
The boots are just nifty... and my sensors could use the protection.

Yes, the boots are the originals on the truck. My MC is about a year old. It's an Aisin unit.
Sorry... one more question. So the new Aisin unit did NOT come with the boots? I also just bought a new Aisin unit and it didn't have them.
I've looked through ToyoDIY and can't find anything resembling those boots. Bummer. =)

It's not part of the MC, but part of that short piece of harness.
