Nice work, Pilot! You said three link in back, or did you decide to use those leaf springs in the pics? What are you going to do in the front coilovers or leafs? Cant wait to see this thing done! What are you doing with the old toytec lift, wanna sell it? I know they are cheap, but so am I.

THanks for the compliments. This is all going to be trial and tribs to get it to be flexy, but I will make it work.

Yea. After talking with a few guys over at Pirate that have Sas'ed some tundras, they said that the best set up was the leaf springs in the rear (ie de-leafed ford 3/4ton springs "60 inchers") and to link the hell out of the front. SO here goes:p:p

I am selling the ToyTec lift front and rear witht eh HD front coils for $225.00 The pucks are already in the coils and are in brand new condition. Just bolt them in and you are good to go. No spring comressors:o:o:o:o Let me know.

you a freaking nut looks great maybe an exocage something mild and it would really look slick:eek:

Mild Exo, IS in its future.....

Pilot, you traitor, you're ignoring the early Runner forum! :flipoff2: I decide to visit this side of the forum again, just to see what Pilot's been up to, and now I have to read all the crap above. :D

Looking forward to how this turns out, nice to see someone stepping up to the challenge and finding out what works from the LC lineup and what will transfer over to either side.

*Keeping the 88 I assume?

All's well, baby's here, just studying for my last class for the degree and gettin ready for the holiday week. *Have fun with this project man, I'm actually jealous someone actually liked the idea enough to actually do it. :D

I want action shots when the time's right!

After much deliberation. I realized the rear was WAY TO FAWKING high, so I lowered it a bit and it really turned out SICK!!!!!!!! Plumbed the rear brakes and installed the shocks Re-used the Toyotas ABS system (really cool) and hooked up the E-brake, It is amazing how many components work with ford and vise-versa. Just put a set of 315/75/16 MTR Kevlars on her and she rides like a dream. NOW OFF TO LINK THE FRONT WITH THE HP DANA 60:):):):)

ENjoy the pics. THis is just with the rear Sterling 10.5 FUll FLoat axle installed.

Very cool build. Nice to see a Sequoia getting some love. Did I miss it, or what are your plans for the front?

Front will be a high pinion Dana 60 from the front of the same 04 F-350 Ford truck. Been slammed lately, so I have not had the time to get started (insert head hitting wall icon here) Front will be linked and Hydro'ed. Just need to find the time to get it done Prolly start within the next month.

nice

I like the 10.25, as its not "the typical" for axle swaps. Plenty of options for gearing and lockers, and we stock em all.

yes. Pilot is still GAY. the suckoya is GAY and his gay ass is moving to virginia. Oh by the way in case you didnt know . pilot you r GAY and you no longer call a brother.

much love NFCH

OK Pilot, you have many people patiently awaiting updates. You just gonna leave a brother hanging. JK! Is there anyway you can post some pictures of what the back of the Sequoia looks like without the bumper, just curious for bumper building reference? When is your Moab trip planned for? I would love to see your build in person. Hope the move went well.
