Bolt on turbo kit

Ok update time…

Two things:
* I have the oil hoses squared away. These will be done in-house moving forward. I had Fragola make me five sets to send out to customers and they are functionally perfect but esthetically it doesn’t make me crazy happy. I didn’t want the silver hose ends but they didn’t have an option. I’m going to do some strip and coat testing to see if I can have these black zinced without compromising the function. If they are good then great but if not then I may have to suck it up and accept that they will be silver ends going forward.
* Pipe shop has seven sets of pipe work that will ship out to me on Friday. They are down to a absolute skeleton crew but they are pushing out what they can. Their large contracts, the ones that are keeping their doors open, are being taken care of first.

I will be sending out emails to seven of you shortly.

On a shelf, out of context, it looks better. In an engine bay, where similar components are typically zinc coated, an argument could be made that it looks out of place.

Only if you scuff and scratch it. It’s all about the care of the installer.

As a data point from someone not on the list. The black is cleaner in theory, but as stated - silver matches the expected look of an OEM fitting much more than fancy shiny black.

They are not for order right now, as far as I know. However, they pop up for sale on here brand new from time to time. It’s generally someone that was in line for one, but plans changed along the way and they no longer need it. Watch the classifieds daily.

I'm pretty confident Joey will make them available again once he catches up on back orders. The covid supply chain (lack there of) has been killing him on these. Lots of different vendors to compile a whole kit.

Question, finished rebuilding the motor and just waiting for the turbo, been doing other maintenance stuff. I noticed my exhaust hangers needs to be replaced and thought... what are people using after the turbo are installed?

@NLXTACY, does it perform best with the stock setup? Or should i be looking into something else?

I am going to just get a couple new cushion in the meantime...

I am building a new 2.5 inch stainless exhaust because mine was smashed up. Consensus seems to be factory works great.
