Yeah, should be nice. I'll be off here in an hour or so and then I'm off to Andy's to get that locker blasted. Looking like Thursday evening will be good for the install.

Trying to get a good head count for you Mark, should have a solid one Thrursday.

Chris

Sounds like it is going to be a good run. Unfortunately, I still am in mid install of my aux tank and have too many other things to do this weekend. Take pictures.

So well be 146.460 for the run?
not too savvy on the repeater stuff yet. I might have to ask you about that when were out this weekend.

Keep monitoring on Sat. AM, and Ill try and see how far out I can reach you.
Id have to turn the power UP to get the max distance, correct?
Ive only been able to really use my 2M twice. Once in the drive way, and on the Rubicon with Dan and Shawn...Need more pracitce for sure.

Well, for the rest of us that aren't Ham'ers yet, we will be on the antique CB radios, channel 4!! :grinpimp: After the first of the year I am going to study up and go take the HAM test.

I will be heading out to Dixie Valley shortly. I will see you all there and I will have a pot of coffee brewing. I have the hamburgers, hotdogs and fixings, so if everyone would bring some chips or other side dish I would appreciate it. I will be camping near the trailhead to Steamshovel. See you all around 0700 hours.

Ham is good.

was that waterfall as hard as people made it sound? overall how was the trail?

Yeah, it was pretty difficult. We used a strap and human power to keep a few of the rigs from going over backwards or flopping to the side. It was all about the right line and a decent amount of right foot action. Keith and Mark will have pictures, I dropped my damn camera in the water. The trail is really cool, there are a few other spots we had to get everybody thru, but nothing terrible.

I have pictures and several videos of Keith's vehicle going up the rock. If Keith will call me at 775-217-9252 I will get the videos mailed. Chris your driving skills continue to amaze me !!!!

I think it's more luck than skill.
