First off would like to mention that I have owned this 40 for over half my life and have dumped a lot of money into over the years so not in a hurry to sell and not going to give it away. But unfortunately it hasn’t been on a trail in years and I have been going back and forth for a long time on listing it but have decided to move forward with at least trying to sell it. It deserves to be out of the shop more than just the occasional drive and actually used for what it’s built for.
Here is the build/mod list:
Older Chevy 350 that was converted to TBI fuel injection in 2010. Has headers and aluminum radiator.
Freshly rebuilt TH400 w/ Lokar Shifter.
Orion transfer case by Cruiser Outfitters in 2020. Transmission was rebuilt when Orion was installed.
FJ62 axles front and rear. Front axle was just rebuilt in 2021 by SNLC.
Spring over shackle reversed front.
Proffits 4 link rear with Bilstein shocks all around. 100” wheelbase.
ARB lockers front and rear with ARB compressor.
4.88 gears with Longfield burffields.
Disc brakes all around.
37x12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs (tires are old but lots of tread left and not cracking).
17” Allied RT beadlock wheels. Matching spare.
New master cylinder and brake booster in 2021.
Metal tech front bumper w/ winch mount and recovery points.
Metal tech nose guard kit with stinger.
Warn 9.5XP winch w/ new synthetic winch line.
MT front tube fenders.
MT rock sliders.
MT tube half doors.
Metal Tech family cage with seat cradles.
PRP front bucket seats with matching rear bench seat w/ Crow harnesses.
Tuffy locking center console w/ padded arm rest and cup holders.
Custom steel tube rear fender flares.
Vorfab rear bumper w/ dual swing outs. Spare tire carrier with Hilift 60” Jack and removable cooler/jerrycan rack.
Best Top soft top with full soft doors.
Full length bikini top.
GM tilt steering column w/ Grant steering wheel.
Wood dash panel w/ Autometer procomp gauges. (Speedometer is not hooked up)
Optima blue top battery.
CB w/ external speaker and antenna mounted on rear bumper.
