Fun, yea i guess so. Gives me something to do i guess, but quickly adding it up in my head ive spent a small fortune on little things here and there. part of a used vehicle i guess tho, its to be expected, ugh and i still have to order my pane parts to get it fixed and re built so i can tune it back in the right way.

dropped off one of the tanks today to get certified, it needs some parts but we knew that cause it leaked. damn land cruiser addictions. lmao, its fun tho.

1.) Washed the trucks and the trailer on monday to clean em off, dodge was filthy, and the truggy and trailer were covered in mud and i freaking hate mud especially when i want to work on it.

2.) My clean truck

3.) it cleaned up mighty fine

1.) purdy

2.) meh, needs paint

so after i washed it i realized how badly it needed painted so i went to wally world and got the last 3 cans of paint to match the truck and right there redneck as all get out started painting in the end of the wall mart parking lot, it was like 10:30 at night and i wasnt around any other vehicles but still :hillbilly:

3.) looks real purdy now

1.) I even painted most of the black minus the cage when these were taken.

2.) :grinpimp:

3.) yes i put tire bling on the trailer too

1.) This needed fixing so i painted over the blasphemy ;p you can still see it but not as obvious. :meh:

2.) got my rock lights installed I think they are in a safe location the tire hits the frame and the location of the lights should be out of the way from being beat off by the tires. I didnt drill any holes I just used the existing nut certs in the fire wall and threaded em right on in.

3.) this is with the wheel just off of full lock to the left you can see the mark on the frame where the tire hits not the best angle but im confident they are safe. I know the wires are in the way i havent tied em up out of the way yet so ignore that.

1.) I even got the driver side head lamp burned back on. you can see the rock lights hit just right in front of the front tires on the inside. They still illuminate under the truck pretty well and out to the side or the tires as you can see if you look and the headlamps cover the little bit of missed area.

2.) headlamps and rocks lights on

3.) headlamps off and only rock lights on

best part is the headlamps were already wired into the factory multifunction switch so i decided i didnt want to add another switch in the truck so i have em wired up to where if the switch is in the low beam position no matter if key on or off the lights are all off and none can be turned on. if pushed into the high beam mode the rock lights kick on (again no matter if key on or off) then if you turn the headlamps on the head lights kick on as well all through the multi function switch.

I also started to paint the roof as i felt it needed something, I really like the bare alum roof but at the same time i dont for some reason... so i started painting it white as it will go mostly un noticed and wont draw heat and sun to it we will see how it looks once it is finished i guess. also painted the grill, firewall, wheel wells ect, its starting to look pretty nice and while i was looking for a place to mount my lights i re painted the front axle black again to bling it up some. :grinpimp:

Lookin good

First of all, learn how to host your pics online and link them via url so you don't need so many posts:flipoff2: I use Picasa and it's free.

Honestly though, looks great!! The location of the rock lights looks good but I don't do any night wheeling so I don't know how functional they would be. In a late night extraction operation however, I could see those proving to be essential!

I do know how to host em, I use photobucket as well but there are to many downsides to that. If i host them on mud they are there on the server and will always show. :meh:

I dont do much night wheeling either but WTF allows night runs so ill go with others and if i get stuck out on a local trail i like being able to see a little better. they are in a similar location as on Fiona and they double as awesome work lights (but hopefully are never needed.) but they do help a little bit. :meh: worth the 17 bux i paid for the two, heck the two were cheaper than buying just one of the rear lights ill be installing out back under the truck

***EDIT*** I just saw your post said "extraction"... If I'm being extracted i must be broke or rolled :flipoff2:

extracting someone else they would be worthless really as they are only really angled for me or my spotter to better see potential "holes" when wheeling at night.

Did some more wiring work today on the truggy to get all of my lights working so i can be ready to wheel at night as safe as i can be and so other can see me as well.

1.) The brake light

2.) look it works! and yes it works on and off with the brake pedal.

3.) where and how it sits.

1.) my rear rock / under light.

2.) on!

3.) the pattern it displays. I can tell you that this single light puts out quite a lot of light for what it is, I guess that is why they are 17 bucks a pop. I use them on my other 60 and they are great, i went with the ones up front case of the price mostly.

I wired this one to my parking lights so yet again no added switches or lengths of wire to run. I can also turn it on and off separate from the front rock lights and if anted or needed i can use it as a back up light, not to mention it was the easiest way to do what I wanted. now when headlamps are on all other lights are as well and front rock lights are still wired as stated in above post.

1.) A picture of the front rock lights I used (ignore the twist ties I got tired of mosquitoes eating me alive and decided to wire them properly tomorrow.)

and the last two only 1 other person will understand so I'll leave it at that.

Oh yea, :grinpimp:

well all I did was ck the fuses and say" man I should fix that" when I wheeled in the dark :grinpimp:... I see you cleaned the gear oil off it too ... so I bet it came unpluged in the big rollover :bang:

Blown tail light fuse... No joke.

Yea the gear oil was bothering me, just wiped it off of that part, its still all over everything else. I vacuumed part of it out yesterday too, still have the other half of the truck to do. Then to figure out why the radio isnt working, It may just finally be dead:meh:.

NICE ... well that radio has seen better days its been in more rolls then most wheeler :steer:

Went out wheeling last night with a buddy of mine who was in his military k5 blazer with a 6.2 diesel and a 6.5 turbo setup and factory 10 bolts front and rear on 35" BFG A/Ts we were doin some driving around and he got stuck every about 30 feet, i really wish i was joking but im not. lol. anyhow he had never wheeled a day in his life and only rode with me once for less than am mile so he had no idea what to do but was really willing to learn so it made things not as bad. he got stuck once when he drove into a hole and nearly laid it over i tried to coach him out of it bu he was scared (he has never been in a roll so understandable) so i hopped in and 5 seconds later were were rolling again. Then we go to climb a hill and he is having trouble getting up, I coach him and he walks it till one section so i give him a small tug and off we are again. well at the very top he was having issues getting up for some reason, it was all flat.... Well apparently he blew the rear end. so i drag him out and we find he has no power to any of the wheels even when in 4wd and both axles shafts had slid partially out of the housing... so trailer him home go back to my truck and meet with friends one of them bent his exhaust up, then my truck backfires through the intake and blows out my mixer diaphragm again... so now im stranded with a TJ on 33x10.50's and an XJ with some BALD BALD BALD well slick 33" boggers... So the XJ leaves to go to wally world to get me some JB weld and get stuck TJ leaves to go get him and Im still stuck with my rig. well after a few minutes i start tinkering around and was able to get it fixed in another manner and it worked great! so Im up again and drive to the other two we decide to keep wheeling and then we go to leave and the XJ cant turn... busted the bolts on the steering box.... then lost a transmission line and it was dumping fluid out. long story short everyone broke at some point in time my either catastrophic failure or minor set back.

But all of my lights I installed Worked flawlessly and were really nice to have. I think I want some kind of reverse light that broadcast more than just down so I can see trees and stuff a little easier but it isnt a needed right away thing so we will see.

sorry no pictures, was to busy being the mother ship and relied upon rig to get everyone out. I got there at 6pm and didnt get home till 5:30 this morning.

SWEET ... your getin good at fixin that mixer  kinda sucks bein the big rig in a group of small trucks huh.... for some reason they'll try s*** they never would... because you'll save em ;)

is that a blue trail light? if so ho do u like it?
