Lenny, the best way for you to protect the 80.... is to keep wheeling the sammi!
i have a tendacy to break 80's... and no sign of stopping...

No kidding! i just keep adding fat to my 80...;)

Back from the dead!!! I know that this is a photoshop but has anybody done this to an 80? Any more pics or write-ups? I love the look of Tor's rig but I want to keep mine a wagon...

Cattywampus lives!
if this is what you want, there's a hunnerd that was done down bottom in Australia... they did a good job i think... the side was "step cut" to allow more surface welding...
Now that i think of it... there's a 91-92 that was done up near Seattle.... actually near Tor i believe... lemme dig...

The first pic isn't Adams rig, but the second one is. It's still for sale on Seattle Craigslist (it might be expired) for 4k. I know the guy would probably take less because it has a broken birf at the moment.

Go for it Chad!

Thanks Tor! I have a fresh body coming my way that I'm going to bob then do a body swap. I'm really tempted to do a sbc swap at the same time but I don't know if I can live with my 80 down that long!

Sent from my DROID2

^ DONT DO IT ^ ...well at least do an LSX...
I just sold my 4runner with a 5.0 so its not that im biased against domestic motors, though personally ill never build another rig like that. > Die hard toyota fan right here < Unless of course its a diesel swap, thats a whole nother ball of wax

That looks good... did you tie the top into the body?

Chris

yea, the top is tied into the body via angle iron that was inserted to the inside of the sheetmetal to keep it stiff. When I have time to work on it some more (who knows when) I will finish it off with some more body protection around the roof line, then tie it in with an interior cage

Whats left of Adams rig from above and the fronts gettin cut down next
