Not bobbed, but frame has been shortened 7" to tuck the rear bumper as far in as possible. The rest is self explanatory. Nice thread

Nice rig sam. look forward to running your old tires! really interested in how these rigs perform. Really interested in seeing the finish product! what about a slant back like a military hummer- just a thought.

This thing done yet? :flipoff2:

Just got the DMV inspection done on Wednesday though, so one hurdle out of the way before chopping it

What kind of a DMV inspection do you get for a rolled vehicle? Just smog for registering, or road safety because of the damage?

Someday I am gonna bob the V8 80 like this but leave the roof on. Ohio weather sux.

Hats off to Hanna and land speeder. nice work!

this was for sale not long ago...

Does anyone have a pic of this one's front bumper?

Just thinking what if you incorporated the bed off of a tacoma. Dont know the dimensions if it will actually work but if you cut the 80 right behind the second doors then put the tacoma bed on there and blended it to make it look sweet.

If you pull it off maybe I will do it to mine

thats what 98lux did. Put a Hilux bed on. Had to widen it and trim the front off so it would fit properly over the wheels.

Exactly, perfect. Looking for ideas for my bumpers.

Nice! I'll come see it! When is good for you?
Where are you in Seattle?
