can u give me an estimate about how much time and money does it take to get this done...would love to do this to my 80
To bob the U80 8 inches were cut out and removed then welded back up. 8 inches is the most that can be cut without having to move the gas filler. The 2 rear body mounts are easily cut off and welded back onto the frame 8 inches forward.
I'm bringing this thread back to life today because I have another addition to this project. Hoping to build a new bumper in the rear with side protection and 2" receiver hitch for my off road trailer.
This will be done in the next few days, so I hope to show a finished product by the end of the week

Im thinkin about doing a run up to evans creek in the next few weekend to stretch the rigs proverbial legs if your interested.
