Thats a fantastic hull and well worth catching up on the maintenance. I used to run charters out of a Potter built hull and it would take just about anything you could throw at it. Sold it, bought an Action Craft and was wet all day. After you clean it up, I would check all systems (electrical and plumbing) before dunking it. 2 years is a long time for washdown, livewell and bilge hoses to break down. BOAT=break out another thousand.... kinda like my 40.

Damn man, you really have neglected that sea craft. Use some ON OFF from Mary Kate that will get the scum lines off. For a good wash use some Boat Zoap and that will get all the crap off the gelcoat.
For the Non-Skid use some ON OFF or some ajax, that will get all the crap out of the non-skid.
Use some Teflon Marine polish for polishing the gelcoat as that will get the luster back out again.
I am a Boat dealer and this is what i do for a living so if you need any products let me know as i can get them for cost for a fellow mudder.

Oh and that is a great hull! I am a Robalo Dealer and the older Sea Crafts are great hulls, for the newer Sea Crafts, well lets just say there for the birds since Nitro took them over.
I own a 1990 26 Shamrock Stalker, CC with a cuddy, complete Keel drive and i love it. I also have a buch of smaller boats including an old 1979 Sea Craft WA 18' that i take around the bay for fluke fishing.
Again, WOB if you need any parts for that baby let em know i czan get them VERY VERY cheap for ya!

For s***s and giggles, I changed the plugs, recharged the batteries, and pumped the gas bulb. First crank - she fired up!! I let her idle for about five minutes, and she sounded good.

Nice boat Will, that would fetch some $$$ here when cleaned up. ON and OFF is a good product line as mentioned. I just used a bottle of Meguire's deck cleaner and was pretty impressed with that also. I bet once you clean it up, you'll definitely want to keep it.

I'll triple (I think I'm 3rd in line on this one) the simple green. Great for getting the gel cote cleaned up prior to the buff and wax.
For the vinyl I had a '76 jetboat in 'storage' - covered in the driveway - for a couple years and simple off the shelf product 'kaboom' worked wonders on getting the black mildew out of a light colored vinyl.
One caution though, if you don't use it(kaboom) all in one season, toss it and get another bottle. Somehow the product breaks down and leaves a yellowish discoloration on the vinyl after the bottle sits for too long.
