Clicking with a jump? try rocking Blue, maybe the starter gear and flywheel aren't meshing right, at least before you rebuild the starter.

Are the battery cables relatively new? My ‘02 Dodge Cummins did that same thing. Turned out to be the cables, only after replacing both batteries before I figured it out,
