Very Nice LHD 70. I am sure there will be a very happy new owner soon.

Hey Beautiful truck man! Free Abbotsford bump to you; I'm surprised I don't recognize this rig, I've lived in the area for 30+yrs...

Anyway, g/l with the sale; I'm jealous that you're moving out there too, you get WAY more sun over there than we do.

Btw, not that it matters due to the year, but these trucks do NOT have to be 25 yrs old to import to USA. It could have been imported anytime due to the fact that it's a Canadian market vehicle. Anyway, cheers :)

I LIKE! Yeah, i am wondering the same....i live almost next to you and have never seen it on the road! Good luck with the sale. where you movin to? We are movin to Kimberley in September and bringin one of the cruisers with us and leavin the other in the barn

Cheers

Very nice, I love the Kootenays, beautiful area. 3B as a DD is definitely possible, I drive my 70 daily, and do road trips from the interior to Vancouver on a regular basis...... good luck with the move.

Not too far North but as far east as you can go in B.C. Kootenays, here I come. I'll still be within three hours of a major centre but the market is much bigger here. The issue being the wife's family will be a three hour drive away and we will likely be making the trip on a regular basis, the 80 will kill my wallet with the millage. Montana and southern Alberta just don't have the pollution or market of the Wet Coast. They do have a healthy population of Gerrard Rainbow Trout (largest species in the world) and Bull trout. I can't wait to get the switch out! My kids may get sick of wild game, Trout and kokanee but I won't ;)

Ironically i saw you driving in Vedder on Sunday afternoon! I will eat my words! Nice rig.

LOL Took the switch into Foley Lake and caught a few decent trout. Kimberly is nice!

One month and the truck will be in the East Koootenays.

Not yet, it will be moving with me in exactly one month though. 700 Miles east of here but it will still be for sale.

shows what is happening to the value of Land Cruisers over the last couple years.
3 years ago this vehicle would have sold in a week for this amount or even more.

best of luck in the move and sale.

Not sure it is a reflection of Land Cruisers necessarily as much as it is the lousy economy. Even the people who have jobs are a little nervous and hoarding their cash. It does not help that their largest investment ( their house) has lost 30% to 50% of its valve.
Stepping off my soapbox.......1978HJ45

Thanks Greg,

Worst case I keep it and continue with the plans to turbocharge it ..... not a bad scenario at all.

The truck leaves the lower main land Wednesday July 6th and will be in the east kootenays of British Columbia after that date. I've had some interest and turned down a some lowball offers already. It's still for sale, just changing locations.

Thanks,

She is safely in the Kootenays now after the 600 mile drive through the mountains. Other than having to deal with the breath of my 15 year old dog in that smallish cab it wasn't that uncomfortable.

I thought dogs always stuck their head out of the windows.:D
Good luck......1978HJ45

No longer for sale

Well, after several sight unseen low ball offers and a bunch of off the wall trade offers I've come to the conclusion times are much tougher than I thought out there. I'm officially taking the truck off the market as I'm just not willing to give it away. It's been a fun truck to drive here cuttie hunting with the fly rod. Why sell something that is reliable only to purchase an unknown and pay the %$#$ing HST on another vehicle. I just purchased the high beam switch, a new Viare on board air compressor and a convection heater for the winter. I'm going to continue on with the rock sliders, rear winch bumper and more lights. I was very tempted by a nice ex radio truck Mog that would have made a very cool camper but I don't have the time for another project right now.

Anyway, barring a nice offer, I'm keeping it.

Late to the party

@audacious duo I just sent you PM, I'm hoping that you're still interested in a reasonable offer.

I would love to bring this beautiful truck down to TX to replace my 60 that recently caught fire.
