sorry, tried to find something for you but hard to see from small pics..
lots of US vans/pickups have sliding windows in the back... you'll have to see if some are working or not.. also stumbled upon Mini sliding window trimming... maybe that might work.

Guys, I'm sorry, its been too long since my last update... good part is: I'm enjoying my cruiser soo much, I have a hard time sitting behind my computer.. :) !!! I wanna go out!!!:bounce:

The things I've done on the cruiser were the 2 only things that had to be done:

- installing the re-coated fuel tank & new OEM fuel filter
- Replacing the exhaust manifold gaskets.

The cruiser drives great :steer: and I'm finally enjoying it in every sense!! It truly stole my heart... thanks to you all for helping me out.. I will to update with nice pics (already spoke to a few very professional fashion photographers who want to use my cruiser for a shoot...) so stay tuned!

here are some pics I made last weekend, nice autumn weather here in the Netherlands, just visiting some dunes near the North Sea.

Haven't finished the cruiser yet, I'm afraid it will take a bit more time for me to ride it.:frown:

Haha, it's only 15 minutes from my house. I used to race up there when there is not a lot of people around. Nice and twisty road! Not with the Cruiser BTW.:)

Meeting up for a ride will not be easy. I'm gonna tear up my cruiser in about two weeks for a frame swap, SOA on 37's and some other stuff. Should take me about three months or so.
So i'm ready to go in the springtime.

too bad, but hey it seems like your cruiser is going to kick some *** !!! very nice and inspiring work... :)

Thanks but mine will never be as nice as yours.

WeatherStripping

You mentioned you found a source for the Hartop WS but never said WHERE you got it and part numbers, price, etc.

This would be a HUGE help for myself as well as many others.

This one...

I'm awaiting sliding window weatherstripping from australia (mud member dancar helped me out with this)...

Hi Folkert.
I also need that sliding window weatherstripping for the sliding windows on my LX which I undetrstand is the same as on your BJ 44. Any idea where Dancar sourced them ? Dan ?

Theo,

They were from a rubber shop here in Adelaide, but believe that you can also find it in Brisbane. Neither much help to you directly as you are in SA.

Fitch Rubber - Glass Run Channel

It's the twin flocking 64-020

Dan
