I replaced the whole gearbox combo with a 5 speed version from spectre.
This is the 4 speed out of a 1981 BJ42.
Trans leaks a little and xfer pisses.
Everything works but is loose on the trans side. The odometer was broken when I bought the BJ and the PO was clueless.
Make me an offer please. My research gave me numbers all across the board and I have not opened the boxes.
