Holy cow!

Now, let me start by being serious. I truly am happy and excited for Rob and his soon to be bride. I am sure that she is spectacular. Let's face it, she has to be an amazing person to put up with Rob :) ....but....noone ever thought of giving him a little grief???????????? Ok, I will start

#1 Instead of getting married, why didn't you find a woman that you don't like very much and buy her a house!

Next?

Congrats Rob. Will has been bothering me to take a ride in you rig.

My 20th is next Spring. OMG we have had the best times and some tough times.

I had to read this crap from Paul Newman at my sister's wedding this summer:

"Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens. A good marriage must be created. In the art of marriage, the little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say 'I love you' at least once a day. It is never going to sleep angry. It is at no time taking the other for granted; the courtship should not end with the honeymoon, it should continue through all the years. It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives. It is standing together facing the world. It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family. It is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice, but in the spirit of joy. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is not expecting the husband to wear a halo or the wife to have wings of an angel. It is not looking for perfection in each other. It is cultivating flexibility, patience, understanding and a sense of humor. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow. It is finding room for the things of the spirit. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. It is establishing a relationship in which the independence is equal, dependence is mutual and the obligation is reciprocal. It is not only marrying the right partner, it is being the right partner."

All said, he left his first wife for Joanne Woodward and then had a couple affairs so I don't know why in heck people read that stuff at weddings!

Anyone know why divorce is so expensive?

Cause its worth it?

Amen, brother!

Well I don't know you Rob, but congratulations! Marriage is AWESOME and sometimes (translation: most of the time) requires some hard work.

Even though I'll loose man points for this...I wouldn't be half the man I am without my wife, a good woman can really complete a man and make him great. May God richly bless your marriage!

Oh yeah, it's always the women that are the problem. Please.

CONGRATS ROB! I wish you both much love & happiness!

Hmmm, is it just me, or is something lost in your well wishes when your sig line talks about telling someone their going to hell, but make them look forward to the trip????

Just saying.....

Sounds like somebody wants to lose their free courier service & discount on parts for their Dodge truck. ;)

See . . the above is an example of why Rob shouldn't get married . .

Men try to point out errors in women's judgement and then pay the price through illogical debates that often have too much emotion and are influenced by old "deals" and issues from years gone by.

Of course I don't own a Dodge truck either - just sayin.

(this won't affect my discount on Toyota parts will it? - I take it all back if it does)

Adv Copan - you just allowed me off the hook for the worst "roast" post on Rob. Well stated, though :)

I also handle Ford & Chevy truck parts. And the entire tlca membership. Just sayin.......

And I also help feed you at our meeting & events. I'll be sure to put a special dessert aside just for you. ; )
