Bezel and color question 1975

that tanish one i had thought was the pewter color...now that you pointed it out i can see the difference in coloring from the color broshures that i have...very grayish then tanish in pics as for the black...it does look much better than an all white truck...and alot of bandies definatly came with black as a stock color...but...upon looking at 100+ pics of 40's not one is black...i stand corrected...unless somebody definatly had a stock black bezel pic?

The chrome stamped bezel is stock and very rare, but not on a '75 -

Yes it is, but not on that FJ.


The 79-84 had a chrome option and still available from Toyota

Up to 78 as well, but no longer.

I wonder if the one pictured was available in chrome or was it chromed?

i stand corrected then...i havnt seen them very often at all...i thought it was somthing people had chromed or bought from someplace aftermarket...

I have a pewter color on my HJ45 bezel...at least thats most of the color you can see ;p

Thread has long since been dead but was there anyone that definitivly knew bezel colors for FJ40 years? (Say like a 1969)
