Avoid TPD, i gave them a try for a few small parts before seeing this thread. They say part shipped even though it had not been picked up per FedEx. Refused to refund me until they investigated where it was at despite it was never shipped. After 2 calls, multiple emails I got my refund then 2 weeks later the gas tank plug i ordered showed up.

IT’s likely they don’t have your tank. They will take your money and work on finding one and if they can’t find one your going to be stuck with same situation I had. Stick with @cruisermatt !

TPD are nothing but crooks. Plenty of other good vendors out there.

Thank you for that... as expected. Toyota has all online at 15% off through monday... FYI. Parts come out cheaper by ordering the OEM from Toyota with the 15% discount cuz NO SHIPPING! I DO have a dealer up here. BUT, since I'm all over social media telling people to use Mudvendors... I'm ordering tank and radiator hoses from CruiserMatt.

A few years back i ordered a few items from TPD with no problems, but not anymore, I ordered some replacement parts and it took them over 2 weeks to send me the parts they said they had in stock and were ready to ship the same day i ordered them,

Now here's the not so funny part, after waiting to get my order, they were supposed to have sent me a total of 8 of one part, and 8 of another part, Turns out they shorted me one of each part, but they still charged me for all the parts,

When i called them to ask why my order was short, they said that they in fact didn't know why my order was short,

So now i have to wait another few weeks for them to send me the parts they shorted me,

Lesson learned, I'll never buy from TPD again,

Just wanted to update this thread with a little more information about Toyota Parts Deal, Turns out they are in fact a middleman business called Autobest corp, located in El Monte CA, They not only sell Factory Toyota parts, but also sell Honda and other factory Japanese car parts too, Doing an on line search of this company i found out they have had some pretty bad reviews, of 42 current reviews, 37 are one star reviews!!!! My advice, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, unless you enjoy dealing with problems!

I placed an order with www.toyotapartsdeal.com yesterday. They proceeded to split my order up and shipped part of my order out. I received a email from them notifying me of a price increase of $314.11 that I had to pay or they would not ship the remainder my order. I called and they refused to honor the price shown and refused to give me a full refund on the entire order.

I agree, do not buy from them unless you are 1000% sure the part will fit your vehicle. This site has a history of sending the wrong part and not refunding you for the part after you send it back to them. It's a total scam they are running here. I have seen more than one review like this one. They have my $158.00 part I sent back, but because I used my own label they said I need a confirmation number from the label. WHAT??? I wrote the RMA number on the return label, as I have done for 35 years working in IT for anything returned. It's a scam they are running. I did request their label but it did not come into my inbox for a full day. I had already shipped the part out. Scum of the earth these people are.

Was is sent by USPS? I've had some issues with them this year saying parts were delivered, but they physically weren't (sent to people I trust). If it was UPS or Fedex, you can make a claim with them for the lost shipment.

Do you think they have figured out . That if you buy from them (and impex and Partsqu) nothing carries the Toyota warranty from the local dealer? It has to go back through them . Get what you pay for these days.
