Nice come up! While Betsy is glad to refrain from DD duty, she's prolly like "watch yerself you little bitch, I will park on your hood!" I'm sure Betsy is up to the task as DD, but it's always better on em to get wrenched on and wheeled, as in being in the spotlight if you will.

Lol! Nice! So true.
Now that I can strip Betsy down a but without Worrying about getting to work the next day, standby for front end rebuild, finish rattletrap inside, new carpet, new-to-me dash pad, some radio install stuff, hopefully cargo panels, A/C... :D :wrench:

Sweet score bro! Wish I could my hands on some vintage wheels like that!

Sent from deep in the mountains of Honduras using only sticks and rocks.

Sorry I've been MIA fellas.. Lots to do with/for the family pulling me away from the hobby. Thx for patience, I will get back to building up Betsy ASAP..

Finny, hows the Corolla running? My daughter just turned 16 last week and was eyeing Marley, OH NO NO NO NO!!! I found an older Tercel 3rd gen... but, she's wanting a truck. I showed her a pic of yours and she liked it better than the Tercel.

Just wondering how you like it for a commuter.

J

Love it for a commuter! 30+ mpg!! Runs great except just developed an "I won't idle for you" attitude problem! I think it's a vacuum leak from sitting for 6 years then going instantly into commuter duty...

Gotcha! Well you still got some boostcontoller.com materials, RIGHT!

Exactly! ;)

It does feel great to be driving Betsy though!!!

I'm a pack rat, I throw nothing away...... FOR GOOD REASON! I can't wait for the two to meet. It'll be a blast.

I think we are cut from the same cloth bro!

Yep!! Just got my coolstream stuff in the mail to make the trip more pleasant for the family!!

Complete o-ring kit, new oil for the compressor so I can run r134, and the adapter fittings for r134. I think it came to $60ish including shipping. Great guy! Bought them from him even though he gave me all the part numbers etc so I could source it local. Was just easier and more ethical in my mind to get it from him and support a great mud vendor after he had helped me multiple times over the phone run some diagnostics on my rig and inspect it!!

Great price on the A/C stuff there. Should mine crap out I know where to get parts!

Talked to Reevesci this morning and looks like I might be picking up my cruiser the same weekend you guys are meeting up. Which route are you going for the trip?
