After installing both Stahlbus oil drain valves on my rig I tried figure out the best container to put the oil into. At one time I had a spiffy oil pan container but it is long gone. Newer ones didn't fit my needs. In the shed I had an old 2.5 gallon gas jug which fits nicely under my rig. So I am using that for now. Might upgrade to a metal container at some point.

I know the 3D printed solutions are probably “better,” but I’ve had good luck with taking a razor blade and slightly modifying cheap Amazon 4Runner cup holder inserts.

I have used a Black Diamond Spotlight headlamp for my rear light and thought about a more sleek permanent solution but the hatch door button install became more important after sleeping in my LC for the first time. So after hardwiring in a hatch button I relocated the headlamp by trimming the packaging it came in. I used 3M auto trim tape to secure the white mounting pocket - the headlamp snaps in and out and you can choose a battery or rechargeable headlamp from Black Diamond. The run about $45/55. I really like how the headlamp can swing down on a hinge which lets you direct the light inside the or outside toward the ground. It also has many options for brightness/spotlight/diffused and red light. I charge the battery before a trip and that’s about it.
A bonus is that i I keep the headlamp strap in the glove box and can pull the light off and use it as a headlamp if the occasion calls for it…

$12 cargo net for the 3rd row windows. Great for softgoods and lightweight items. The attach points have double sided tape preinstalled but I opted to use the screws, just make sure to predrill the holes to prevent the glass from cracking.

$12 Chinese made cargo net. $10 carbide drill bit. $8 1/4-20 x 1 Delrin Screws. Broken window while on the trail, priceless. For everything else there is MUD.
Suction cups might have worked. Not sure I would be brave enough to drill through the glass.
I used 1/2” self-tappers and it went swimmingly.

I don’t get it either. You can just set the windshield wipers to manual instead of automatic.
