I'm using a RAM windshield mount.

I tried using the ProClip mounts, but find they did not fulfill my needs.

Times 2 on these.

Every time I get a new car its the first thing I order haha
I ordered one of those for my LC. I thought it was a terrible product the way to was to be jammed in between the panels. I returned it ASAP. I ended up with the PanaVise mount. Much better product. I have one in my Audi as well as my LC. Just bummed they don't make one for my wife's CRV.

I may grab one of these for my car, bummed they don't make one for a RHD 80 series, lol.

Two things that sucks about this, and it's what I currently use:
1. It's mounted way too low and very nearly out of reach.
2. Nearly every passenger's knee has become intimate with it and I've split my scalp open on it.

Why is your head down there? :hhmm:

I'm with you there. It definitely isn't in the best spot but it sure is sturdy. I mount a tablet on mine most of the time.

That's my favorite location, had had a sticky mount there for a bit. Current solution is a Dish Network mount in my console poking through the subwoofer grill with lots of Ram mounts on it. Holds iPad, HAM, phone, Scan gauge II. Pretty handy.

This is probably my favorite mod to date. Made a small bracket that wraps around the area between the two vents. Welded a 1/4" thread nut on it to use with the ram mount hardware. Took one of the "blanks" on the dash and turned it into a usb port that connects to the back of the stereo. I used the Quad lock mount ( Adhesive Mount - Twin Pack ) and adhered it to the ram mount and my phone. Just a 45* twist and the phone comes off. This is nice as I can use all the quad mount hardware for my other activities like biking and jogging.

Found a pic. Managed to get my wireless charger integrated too, so handy with Bluetooth audio.

Feels like it with that tractor motor :D

Has anyone put a ram mount on the a-pillar? Drilled a hole and put a backing plate behind it with the ball mount?

I was thinking about using the ball mount that has a bolt through the middle and just getting a different bolt that will take the place of one of the oh s*** handle bolts.

On an older thread about gps mounting a guy built a plate to go behind the bar with a tab for a mount. Perfect place for a ball mount. I'll see if I can find it.

I can't find the pic but it was an old school gps. A clamp mount would work on the grab bar too.
