Green Flash Red IPA

Had a couple of pints of Hop Head Red IPA at Friday's WALCS meeting. Really really good beer. I may have to go back for more.

Nope, I'm still kickin'. Birthday trip, courtesy of my bride. Lots of great food and beer out here, but I can only take the Left Coast in small doses. Back to Texas this afternoon, in time to vote.

Speaking of beer, Hop Rod tastes especially good at the brew pub. Birthday pints were on the house. :D

Think I could find this brew in Laurel?

Lee, we don't have any of the Bear Republic beers in MS yet that I know of. I've been able to get them at Martin's in New Orleans, but that's the closest I've seen them. Cheers!

Coming back to the cans.

Enjoying my beer until I saw the STATE logo on the back....,

that some funny shot right there...

"don't make him angry. you wont like him when he is angry...."

Passes muster with me. I drank Longboard every day when I lived in Kona. Costco sold it for $20 a case, and it was free at the brewery....because the bar chick was an FJ40 lover. ;)

Speaking of Costco, the first shipment of Sierra Nevada 2012 Celebration just came in, $22 and change for a case. Can't beat it.

I concur. Had a few of these during the Saints game on Sunday. Good balance with a strong, bitter finish.

A really good farmhouse ale from Boulevard that I picked up while i was in Missouri. Their Smokestack series is always great. I also picked up a bunch of Big Sky beer and some Left Hand Milk Stout.

Drink up Grogan! You drink cheaper with that mug. What are you doing in that place? Didn't think you liked it?

I like it. Just don't like the smoke.

I have her your number.....you are now single, a trust fund baby and like single mothers.

My first Milk Stout. A perfect beer to drink after getting down all of the stupid Christmas decorations out of the attic.

Still a little green. It should mellow out in a few weeks.
