Only 101 degrees today, which means a severe Texas Winter is right around the corner. Naturally I had to open a bomber of Left Coast VooDoo Imperial Stout in order to stay warm.

I'll be at Booth #21 this afternoon. Come and see me and let me pour ya any variety from the good people at the Atlanta Brewing Company. I am really looking forward to trying their Vanilla Gorilla

VANILLA GORILLA A smoked porter aged in Tennessee Whiskey Barrels with
Smoked Vanilla Beans, courtesy of Fox Bros. BBQ in Atlanta. This porter was
brewed with Cherry Wood Smoked malt. Nearly black in color, Vanilla Gorilla
has a smoky aroma with hints of heavily roasted vanilla beans and whiskey.

Great time at the beer deal with Bodean, Spivey and Mr VIP Chris T.

If you want to get the beers you are interested in down the hatch, spring for VIP tickets. We drank 20-25 samples in the first hour. Walked right up.

When the general tickets opened, the lines were 20 person deep.

Don't do it for the food though if those ass-clowns at Parlor Market get the gig in '13.

Hot dogs, filet of fish and boiled chicken. WTF?

Thanks boys for a great time and thanks for blowing that VIP pass on this Mic Ultra drinker.

X2 Tolleson! Thanks bud. The burger afterwards at Parlor Mkt was legit!

Ron, I left my last bottle of Caribou Slobber on your desk. Hope you got it.

This is a very good summer beer. I am a serious fan of it.

Speaking of beer, the word on the street is the LA Landkrewser guys are bringing at least 2 kegs of Abita to the Crawl! Gettyup!

Ovila Dubbel by Sierra Nevada 7.5% ABV. Probably the best new beer find after the new law, and I found it at Kroger. It says it is brewed with in cooperation with an abbey in Belgium. It also tastes similar to the Dubbel I brewed, so that makes me feel good.

My favorite brew at the beer fest thing.
