Where are we camping?

I can answer that...of course you are welcome to camp in the primitive camping within Beasley Knob, but there are also hotels within 3-4 miles of the event. This means you can crash out in style if you so choose. Be forewarned, there is no room for camper/RV type gear. We will need to run a more tent based campsite for this event.

I will camp primitive and without RV. That's exactly what I needed to know. This will be a welcomed change which I prefer. Can't wait! Bringing my nephew Jon for his first shot at it. I know he'll enjoy it immensely. He works for me but lived in Statesboro prior for nine years. Military brat and a really good kid. Will give anybody the shirt off his back.

Man I was just up in the tellico area hearing about how great it is.. how would you guys rate the beasley vs the other trails available in ga/tenn area for newbs to intermediate?

i guess i psyched about beasley and just trying to better understand what i am getting into..

Beasley is mild compared to Tellico with the following assumptions:

- There is one hard trail at Beasley, easily avoided
- There is no rain...wet Beasley = danger will robinson!
