Have a 2H turbo diesel engine that came out of a good running driving truck. Only reason it was pulled was to do a 2.8 Cummins swap. Motor ran fine when pulled. Currently located in Virginia but if purchased before Friday I can help with delivery if it’s on my route from VA to MT. Otherwise we can crate it for shipping. If memory serves me correctly it has around 170k on it. I can confirm with the cruiser shop that did the swap. Let’s say $3000 obo

It may not have an AC compressor, but it does have the tensioner pulley and bracket. You could run the 40 with no AC, sell that bracket and probably pay for a good portion of the engine!

Wanted: if anyone ever comes across a clean front LH fender for an 80, please let me know. Given the location and shape, I’m not sure this can be easily fixed with sheet metal and welds so I’m going with the temporary ‘stop it from getting worse’ route now and will properly address when I can find the part.

Those fender flares hid a lot, but I’m glad to expose it all now and get these repairs on the to-do list.

It is a trail truck! clean the rust, treated it and put some color to it, and roll on!

For some stuff I use a product called Corroseal, shows where it reacts and dries to a sandable/primable surface

Going to tackle the hood and front fender tonight with the ‘wheeling rig’ special. I still want to seal up those rear lower panels with plate and welds prior to new bumper since it’s open to the interior back there.
