Were gonna go do our shopping this weekend.
Gotta get a nice tent/ palace for me and the wife...
If it were just me going...
Steak and beer!
Probably gonna bring some lunch meat, chips and such...
Dinner? No idea chicken and steak probably.
Breakfast...eggs and fixins
For the evening....JACK DANIELS!

Gonna go get one of them FANCY tables like Rusty has from WalMart!
Also gotta get a new CB antenna...Mine didnt fair so well on the BLOTCH trip this year! Gonna put a bumper mounted deal on this time!

Hey D,
I think I figured out an AWESOME way to mount the x member...It came to me in the shower this morning...Its SOOOOO simple, I cant even believe it. I was thinking way too complex about it!
All I need is a decent drill press, my welder, cut off saw, 4 grade 8 bolts, angle iron and tubing/ square stock of choice!

Has spring wrap been that bad? I kept meaning to ask you about that.

We are kind of like everyone else, as far as food, we will just make it up as we go along.

I have two drill presses at the house right now, if you want I have a bench top you can borrow. Otherwise I have my floor stand unit with the indexed feed, we should be around most of the weekend.

Good idea on the Swingles and Andres.

NAW...NOT AT ALL in fact!
Im just particularly paranoid about it for some reason! I havent really "GOT INTO" anything that requires real GRUNT...
Am I all THAT worried...No
Is it sitting in the back of my mind that its something I really "SHOULD" do before its too late...ABSOLUTELY!
I just cant shake that sneaking suspicion...ya know?

Actually....now that you mention it....
I did have you and your floor press in mind in this GRANDIOSE plan!!!:D
You had offered before, so I was hoping that the offer was still standing.
I appreciate it...
Espressomon...Thank you as well for the offer!
Ive just gotta get the time to get the crap cut, and marked so I dont take up too much of your time...
That way it will be just a couple of quick zips and ill be out of your hair!

I have a cheezy HF chop saw that takes an hour or so to make a cut on the heavier gauge stuff, so Espressomon, I might end up taking you up on your offer as well!

Thanks,

K

That's good to hear. You need to find a nice little ledge and try and climb that. That will show whether you have any spring wrap. Gotta go with what makes you comfortable. Just glad you have been able to wheel it.

BR will be a decent, "entry level" test of spring wrap coming back in from the river...
there are a couple of good climbs with some boulders, but nothing too strenuous.
Would you really be able to feel it while wheeling?

Oh yeah, have you ever watched any of the Moab videos? Lots of ledges and when you see someone with spring wrap, you'll see the rear start "hopping" or bouncing up and down. Almost looks like someone jumping up and down on the bumper of a vehicle with bad or no shocks. Can be gentle or violent depending...

need some info on BR run

Can anyone tell me where this run starts and where it ends? is it an overnight run, and if so are we in NV or CA overnight? There may be a technicality with me going if we are staying in CA.:whoops:

if we are in NV overnight, I may be able to make this run with a pass through CA, but I can't stay overnight in CA. For those that know, you know why.

This is an in and out trail, not a loop. Most of the trip is in CA and yes it is planned as an overnighter.
