Hey everyone . Back in your great state again prepping for next fire season already. And looking around down here at houses. Wife is coming out for the holidays.

Anyway. Just thought I would say hey. Looking forward to hopefully getting some time in wheeling with some of you.

Hiking my 4th POC off down here right now up in Miller area.

Went hiking and kinda wheeling today. Washed out dirt roads to get to a parking spot to hike in to some old mines down this way. South of Ft Huachuca .
 
Darn folks. You guys have it made in this great state.

You can wheel all over here. I am so not used to this.

In the past week now I have wheeled Kaibab, Coconino, Coronado Forests.

Also put in for a full time permanent position in Happy Jack AZ. Not much out there . But it is beautiful.
 
Seen this FJ60 not far from it at some type of campground on 90.

Nice. When the weather warms up, be sure to hike in to West Clear creek via the Tramway trail (not far from the HJ ranger station). Bring your fly rod and swimming trunks. One of my favorite places in AZ.
 
HJ is getting hammered, right? 24-26" since Thursday here in Flag. I imagine you guys are 30" or so?
 
Seen a bunch of Cruiser's in Prescott yesterday. Anyone on here ? Grey FJ60, white FZJ80 with wood panel stickers on the side and about 4 100 series .

Went there to look at travel trailers and bought a used 5th wheel.

So is permanent all year or still just seasonal? Will you be based out Happy Jack or Blue Ridge ranger station? How much snow do you currently have? Need to get up north and have no idea of how much there is. We are pretty close to the Blue Ridge ranger station.

My first trip to West Clear Creek was in 1972. Made it within a few hundred feet of the parking to Tramway trail. That was with my Opel GT, long story. That:s one hike I would like to do again before I get much older.

Right now I am perm seasonal but only get 2 months off out of the year is the plan. December and January.

I am out of Blue Ridge. Only have slight snow here now but HJ still has a good amount.
