Near Basalt today

I just heard crawlorado had a meet and greet today. It's some club on Facebook I guess. Luke did you talk to Trevor and see if they were allowed to use the name for there club or group? If they can cool but if they are crossing boundaries maybe it should be known. Just wondering.

A friend of mine told me about the meet and greet and said there was going to be about 100 rigs attending. Just thought if they would have to change the name the sooner the better but if they can keep it and everyone is cool with it all the better.

Been thinking a lot about Jeeps lately. Ran into a kid at the gas station that had just picked up an early 80's CJ7. It was obvious he was in love, reminded me of when I had bought my CJ5.

Then our Texas buddy Andy posted this on Facebonk today:

:hmm:...................................:grinpimp:

I really wish you'd bought something more "entry level" for your dedicated wheeling rig. Something you could "tinker" with, and not "engineer and rebuild". A Cherokee XJ would have been way more suited for you. There's just truly massive amounts of information and aftermarket support. That's not taking anything away from you whatsoever. You're a smart guy, but you have to ease into these things. To see you go from the 55, to getting overwhelmed with that 60 made me slap my forehead. Sorry man. I wouldn't have sold it to you. :(

I definitely just put 2 and 2 together after looking up the Crawlorado facebook page. I know who Trevor is. He races down at the RC track on Wednesday nights. His buggy is even adorned with the Crawlorado sticker. I've talked to him quite a bit after he noticed my CruiseMoab shirt one night. Hell, I think I even bought my first trailer from him. I'll have to ask him next week.

I'm kinda tempted to see if he still has thoose 38s...

You race R/C? I've been down and hung out at the track with Trevor. Been Working toward getting my daughter an Associated B5. Got everything to go in it already. We'll be down there soon so she can crash into everyone. Lol.

Yup. Been doing it a few months now. My Wednesday night hobby while Jillian is at horse judging.

I race a B5 (new track layout is much faster with a B5M it seems). Jillian also races in the Novice class on Saturday's. She really has a lot of fun.

That's awesome. I'll hope to see you down there. I raced for a lot of years when I was younger, quit around 18 when I found other things to occupy my time. Still have my Losi JRXT from the early 90's. Lol. Excited my daughter wants to race, she's pretty good with the Losi rock crawler... speed is a different game though. I suspect I'll be buying a lot of parts.
