How did people like the beer? Bman did you end up with the keg?

only 3 gal of chocolate stout:grinpimp:

While you guys were out screwing off, Ross and I were getting his bumper done.

Hey Branden, you know that comment about me not being missed, a little chicken blood and pigs teeth with some incense and a few chants do wonders on radiators

Just kidding, hope you got your junk fixed and had a good time.

Had a good time ran a couple exciting obstacles (for me). I saw a lot of flashes should be some good pics out there so post up. He are a few I took.

Hmmmm... :o

On Friday Claudia, Michael, Rob Clark and I ran Coke Ovens marathon with a Taco group. Nice run made long by a couple having carnage, most notable being the T100 ejecting his camper on the trail! The river was too deep to cross, so we came out Battle Axe, long drive, but scenic.

Rob,

I've got the keg and gear. There's still quite a bit of beer in it. I'll try to empty it out this week and bring it to the meet on the 20th.

Josh,

I have your shovel and your 13mm box end ratchet.

I need to extend personal thanks to all of you who helped me out this weekend. Kevin, Bill, Josh, John, Rich, Dave, John and Cliff. Without you guys I wouldn't have gotten the truck back up and running for Saturday. Time's like that make me proud to be a member of this club. Knowing that people will go above and beyond to help out when a fellow wheeler is in trouble is a great relief and brings back a little faith in humanity.

Is that middle black FZJ80 (or Lexus) you Kevin?

If so, were you on Greenfield and McKellips today around 11:45 (leaving the WalMart parking lot heading north on Greenfield)?

Saw an FZJ or LX450 like the one in the pic. Awesome looking rig! :)

But Brandon, were you thrown out of a vehicle this year?

Cool thanks Bman. After the long day on Fri. I didn't get the hall pass for Sat.

Have all you want...I guess it didn't go over as well as I thought it would:whoops:

I thought it was good as hell. I think people just didn't realize it was there.

Ross,

No. You see, apparently you have to be IN a vehicle in order to fall out. I spent my weekend UNDER my rig rather than IN it, making it terribly difficult to fall out.

The Saturday CSC run was to be a loop to Orphan Boy Mine, started out OK, a narrow shelf road climbing a mountain. Probably a little more narrow and cambered than we were looking for.

Got to one spot that was very narrow and washed out, I inched out onto it and called Cliff for a spot. Just as I was ready to turn, I felt something give, then the earth fell out below the right side tires! Matted the skinny peddle and luckily forward motion overcame falling motion, landing the truck in the trees. In the third pic the burnout from the left tire is just behind Cliff's right foot and below it the contact spot of the right tire is visible.

My step dad's grandson was riding with me and was on the low side, he swore he didn't soil himself, but did take a personal moment.:D Leather did have to be pulled from at least one of my orifices.

A couple of shotts on the way out. This downhill was kinda hairy, Doug with the Xterra's shorter wheelbase and lack of flex got some big front wheel lift then it rotated downhill, lifting the rear for a dramatic moment, but I missed the pic.

Played on Ajax rock on the way out. Cliff, Phil and Mark took a line that none of us had run since it was washed out. Phil spotted Cliff and made it look easy.

Great Job on the pics and stories Kevin.

Looks like you guys had an exciting time.

I still feel kinda bad about being on spotting duty when you had an "event" there Tools. Maybe too close to the edge but the alternative was more side hill. The lesser of the two evils turned out to be the devil in disguise. Your quick thinking saved your bacon.

The :princess: Lexus may have been violated otherwise.
