I still feel kinda bad about being on spotting duty when you had an "event" there Tools. Maybe too close to the edge but the alternative was more side hill. The lesser of the two evils turned out to be the devil in disguise. Your quick thinking saved your bacon.

The :princess: Lexus may have been violated otherwise.

No stress, thanks for the great spotting all day! Glad nobody got hit by flying rocks.:D

Mark tried the line on the other side, slid off the rock with the right rear, pinching the wheels between the rocks. That threw his line off for the exit, wound up very hung up. Kept his cool and slowly worked the truck out, we got to use all of the recovery tools!:D I haven't heard, but it looked like the only carnage was scraped edges on the rear rims.

I was waiting for that:flipoff2: ! Dude - I was sick, as in couldn't breathe or see:crybaby: . I didn't want to contaminate the club with the crud. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Hey, wasn't this your first outting since New Years;p ?

Oh, and a couple weeks ago Craig, Crash Pilot Bob and I tried Orphan Boy from the other side. After a couple hundred feet of steep uphill, the trail ended into a fence and a big pit I almost drove into. I think the mine has been filled in and the road blocked off. Either that or we were both really lost!

Someone really needs to talk to Willie about resperators for you guys. That sugar dust is a real hazzard.:flipoff2:

Rob,

I've got the keg and gear. There's still quite a bit of beer in it. I'll try to empty it out this week and bring it to the meet on the 20th.

Josh,

I have your shovel and your 13mm box end ratchet.

.

Rob, the beer was excellent! Bman, I was looking for that Shovel, Thanks!

Thanks a lot!! I thought it turned out really well. I know that Chocolate stout isn't for everyone, but I thought it turned out better than I even expected.:grinpimp:

Besides Stout is often served warm...don't know how warm is was when people drank it.

Nope no other carnage besides the bruised ego and the light bar that got bent when I hit the "other rock" that had nothing to do with the squeeze.

The wheels were pretty scratched up but that's OK they're cheapies. I think it's pretty neat that I climbed a rock, not with my tires, but with my WHEELS... :grinpimp:

Kevin, thanks for the picture of the K5 in the LX mirror - my truck is usually not found in such an elegant environment...

And I guess I'm glad I couldn't go with you guys on Saturday, being that my truck nearly a foot wider than yours...

Thanks for letting me join in the fun and big thanks for Phil and Kevin for spotting and making it look easy. If you have any more picks of the FJC I'd love to see them (norm.in.az@cox.net). I'm really sorry I missed out on the Choco Stout.

I'm sure Carl was MIA because he was very busy firing up his own home brew.

Pictures? Pictures? C'mon I know there's got to be more out there. ;p
