I can't remember if it's M10 or 1/8-28 BSP like the oil pressure sender. You should be able to force any brass 1/8 NPT barbed fitting since the steel is pretty thin there. Or you can still buy the similar fittings from latter model Toyota's

I went and pulled one off a 60 axle and a 80 axle, they’re both 1/8-28 BSPT

If you pry the spring-filled cap of the axle breather, you can slip 3/8" fuel line onto the stub and secure it with a hose clamp. Long barbed fittings aren't critically needed for this.

FWIW my '03 Tacoma uses the 1/8" British thread as well. Which look to be the exact same as the breathers on my FJ Cruiser. But yeah I had fittings left over my my Tacoma repair/breather extension to do the extended breather on the FJ62 axle. So basically I'm saying looks like thats what Toyota has use across the board forever.

Thanks, Matt, I was scratching my head on my GX470 470 axle (8"). Tried a 1/8 NTP, close but no cigar. So 1/8 BSP it is.
