Same here 👍🏼. I was hoping to make it paint match the 80 but not quite sure which way to go about it. I guess I could bed line it or i'll find a matching color gel coat. One sounds way more expensive than the other 😡
Gel coats aren't cheap but getting some good paint and clear coat wouldn't be all that hard on these tents. Scuff and squirt and you're there. I'd bet you get "good enough" results without much hassle, just adjust your expectations! haha

Thought I'd add some pictures of mine up on the 40. Went for a quick 2 nighter a few weeks back. Tent worked quite well. I can tell there is added weight up high on the truck. I wouldn't want to put anything heavier up there.

Putting the maxtrax on top makes the lid heavy enough that I need to help it up with a push. Is that cause the lift struts are worn out or is it just too much weight?

2 up ^ That looks vaguely like it could be the backside of Smith Rocks.

Earlier folks were wondering about a net/basket thing. Our Maggi is still in the box, so I've no idea what it looks like. I recently bought one of these to use as an attic in the Blanc-oh! Mine is all gray, they must *just* changed that.

IME gas struts don't have a wide weight tolerance range. Doesn't usually take much change to throw off their calibration. Can likely find some generics of the same stroke with a little more force, or take that as a sign that those shouldn't be up on the RTT.

Anybody had any luck with replacement gas struts on a columbus and the metal pieces for the "sunshade"? Struts aren't quite lifting it up as quickly as I'd like especially because I'm short.
